Nanna's Stamps and Accessories for SALE!

I have been cleaning my house and that includes my Craft Room. It's going to be a busy week. I should take some before and after pictures. LOL

On the top of my list was to do something will all my RETIRED stamp sets. I do have a Crafter's Garage Sale every year but, that's just a one day event. I always have unsold items left over that I rummage through during the year as there just might me a stamp that I could use on a current project. It's nice to have them handy however, I'm running out of space and I need to clean things out.

I have found a solution......I have created an other Blog just for this purpose. Please check it out if you are looking for Great Deals or a retired stamp set or maybe you just want to add more Stamps to your collection. All prices are negotiable and you can do bundles. I will be adding a PayPal link to my blog for your convenience. Also prices do not include Shipping. I have added a link in My Stampin' Up! Business.

Meghan and her friends havng FUN!

I got out the GOOD EGG stamp set to make some Easter cards, before I got started the girls were in my stamp room and took over. I showed them that I was going to cut out designer paper and make it the egg and then make a card. They took the idea and ran. They each made egg people and gave them names, cut out egg bottoms using the designer paper and made closets to hold it all. I guess they were playing paper dolls with little chicks. They have been down her in my stamp room for over 3 hours and still playing. That's when I decided to upload some things while my table is in use. Thought I would share.

Thanks for taking the time to stop by,

~Ann

Tart and Tangy

WOW, I seen this set and just had to have it along with the Summer Picnic DSP. I decided at the last minute to have a Mystery Hostess Evening last night so that my customers would have one last chance to get in on Sale-A-Bration. These are the cards that were the sample for to made. There was a lot of creativity flowing here last night, as each card was changed by the stamper to make it their own. Its amazing I have a such wonderful stamping friends that seem to always change up my cards to fit them. I think everyone had a great time and that's "A Good thing". I'm sorry I did not take pictures last night. It seem like I just give them the pieces and they make a beautiful card and mine is just there to show them what not to do......LOL!

Enjoy, and thank you for stopping in, have a great weekend....

Where Have I BEEN!

This has been one of the best weeks in my life. With my son now home I seem to be able to relax, sleep better and I'm just in a happier mood. Hard to explain it's going to be an adjustment for him as well as all of us. My house is very quiet with out all the grand kids plus my own here every day. I do miss them and the noise but, I can now have more time to spend in my Little Stamp Room each day. That I can get use to.... I do have some new cards to post as soon as I get the pictures up loaded later today. I had a impromptu Stamp Night last night as Sale-A-Bration comes to and end. To all the ladies that attended and those who called or e-mail their orders I want to send out a BIG THANK YOU! I get so much out of Stamping with all of you. I'll leave you with a picture of the beautiful sun set kinda expresses how we are all feeling around here Amazing!

Thank for stopping by, ~Ann

Posting on a Snowy Day!

These photos are of my yard & deck. Look how high the snow is on my grill. This was before the second wave hit and left us with 15" of snow! Last Monday we had near 70 degrees, 3 days later it looks like this. This is unusual in northern Kentucky. We always get snow in winter, but it's rare that we get a foot or more in one snowfall. It was back in January of 1978 the last time we got hit like this. I know many of you get this kind of snow all the time, are you laughing at me?

:) Thanks for visiting today -- have a great one!

March Monthly Card Kit

Good morning…this had been a wild ride here in Northern Kentucky we got about 15” of snow. I'll post some pictures of it. I have not seen my husband since Friday morning. He is keeping the runways clear at the CVG Airport.

Back to stamping’ this month’s featured stamper is Jackie Bolhuis and she has designed the March Card Kit Cards. This is one of my favorite stamp sets from the New Catalog.

I did make a few changes to the sample card and you can make changes to them too. One of my friends (Hi, Karen) used one of the card kits to make a birthday card that she needed the cardstock was pre-cut it was a snap. These card kits are the best you can use different stamp sets and add different embellishments and make them your own. They have helped me out in a pinch as have the Sketch Challenges Beate has every week.

I just want to share on of the best days I have had this year, I know that we all have days that are just out of this world, and March 6th is one for me as my eldest son Stewart came home from Afghanistan. A heavy weight has been lifted now that he is home. Words cannot describe the over whelming feeling of JOY. Hope you don’t mind me sharing this will all of you on my Stamping Blog. This is why I have not posted for a while I’ve been getting ready for this day. Now that is all done its back to stamping. I’ve got some pictures to take and get posted. I did get some project finished and now need to share them with you.

Stewart was part of the Kentucky Army National Guard's "Alpha Battery," 2nd Battalion, 138th Field Artillery who came home at the Kentucky Air National Guard Base in Louisville, Kentucky on March 6, 2008. They mobilized on October 12, 2006 to deploy in support of Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan. During their time they unit conducted over 500 combat missions; partnering with local security and police forces to develop regional stabilization for the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan. During the course of operations, the unit sustained a total of 9 occurrences of Soldiers being wounded in action from improvised explosive devices and indirect fire.
