One more saved image

I just finished this one so had to share. Don't know where this image came from I never had this set. One thing I never have is a Masculine Birthday Card now I have ONE! OH! and look there's that ribbon again... just could not resist I'm a ribbon addict, could be worse.

Happy New Year to all, 2010 the best is yet to come!

Sweet Treats......Birthday Wishes

Here's a sneak peek close up.

One of my favorite things to add to my cards is the 5/8" grosgrain ribbon.. Bet you would never have guessed. This set was one of my all time favorite sets. Loved the three scoops of ice cream with the cherry on top. Found two here's my two new birthday cards hope you like them.

Turning back the clock.....

OMGoodness this is very dated, from back when we did the postage stamp look. I think this set is Botanicals (2002). Just could not put it in the garbage so here's my rescued scrap.

Thinking this was left over from a failed swap attempt. LOL Tried by adding some brads, hemp and 3-D circles not my favorite but it will do.

Unfinished miss matched pieces

Now that I have my Mojo back (happy about that) I first needed to clean out the clutter and start over clean and fresh in my stamp room. I have been gathering up all my miss matched unfinished pieces I found here and there. I finished some, revamped some and purged the rest. Here are a few of the cards that I have revamped. Old stamps set some I don't have anymore and don't know the name. But just getting a post up on my blog is Good THING this new years eve. Thanks for visiting and
Have a Happy New Year!

A Cardinal Christmas

I made it to my stamp room last night with my good friend Heidi. We had so much fun I cannot believe that I have been away this long. I got up this morning and finished a few of the card so that I could post to my blog. I've been bit by the stamping bug!!

Heidi purchased this stamp set last year to do Christmas cards for her mother. I cleared off my stamping table and we sat down and got to work. This is what we created....I love this set. She needs 40 cards and I'm making 10 for me.

Over the past year I have noticed that you don't leave the inside blank any more. Below is the inside of the cards. I think Heidi's mom will love these card.
Have a wonderful weekend and thanks for stopping in and taking a look.... : )

Starting Over........

I have been absent for a very long time from blogging and stamping, 8 months in fact and it has went by so fast that it's hard to believe I have not been hanging out in my Craft Room that long. Today, I'm in my Craft Room and it feels good. I was planning to attend a class at Audrey house last night but I'm dealing with a very bad head cold. DayQuil to the rescue I'm feeling a little better getting some laundry done and blowing off the dust in my Craft Room. I'll start posting again as soon as I get this place cleaned up.

I'm no longer a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator but if things go well I may sign back up. I have many great friendships that have been from during my 6 years as a demonstrator. They will keep me going in supplies and new stamp I'm sure. For now I'll be using up all my stock and stamping with the sets that I have. Thanks for Stopping in ..... and have a Wonderful Day!!!

One more quick one.....

Now as I said your creativity is not limited. I took the same Polka Dot Punches stamp set but different image kept the same colors and added a different sentiment. Another great card......a little close up I love the look of embossing, I did cut each of these images out to get the full petal detail.

I also like these card because they are great examples of using your Designer Series Papers on cards. They add color and texture.

The game is about to get started have a great day and thanks again for stopping by,

Sizzix Top Note Die Box II

This one is not as dainty as the first, more masculine! After, making this one I have come up with an easier way. I had help from Brooke on this one we went for a different look and added the stars.

Stamps: None with this one

Ink: Chocolate Chip & Pacific Point

Cardstock: Candy Lane Designer Series Paper 12 x 12

Other: Chip Board Stars, Night of Navy 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon & Crystal Effects, Big Shot Top Note Die & extra back board that comes with DSP for backing.

Sizzix Top Note Die Box

WOW! I came across the pattern for an adorable box made by Shannon Griebe. I must have missed this when it was first posted on SUDSOL (an email list/group for Stampin' Up! demonstrators) I can't link to her pattern because you have to be a member of SUDSOL to see it.

I made a few changes and took pictures for my own tutorial. I cased the flower it is so easy to make and looks adorable.

In fact I'm working on three different Tutorials that I want to post. With another snow day tomorrow I just might get them finished. That's the plan. We are getting hit again tonight with snow and freezing rain. We played out in the snow earlier today before the freezing rain started and it was fun.

Stamps: No Stamps

Ink: No Inks

DSP: Candy Lane Designer Series Paper

Other: Scallop Circle Punch, Grosgrain Ribbon, DSP Backing Board. Paper Snips & Crystal Effects.

Small Post It Note Holder

Good Afternoon,

Oh my, I had so much fun making these little Post It Note Holder. Don't know where the one I found on my desk came from. It's old and made with retired DSP and stamp set.

What better to do than to up date. New In Color and DSP and NEW stamp set. I love how they turned out. I did take pictures as I made them and will post the tutorial as soon as I complete it.

Right now it's 10 degrees and partly sunny out side. Like "sunny" makes a big difference. I think if we had snow I'd feel better about the bitter cold. Bring on the snow......

Cardstock: Very Vanilla, Close to Cocoa, Riding Hood Red and Pink Pirouette

DSP: Candy Lane Designer Series Paper

Other: Scallop Circle Punch, Grosgrain Ribbon, Stampin' Dimensionals, 1 1/4 & 1 3/8 Circle Punch, Crystal Effects.

Today's project is a CASED idea I seen on a blog during Christmas, not sure of the exact one, if any of you know where to give credit please tell me. It is made using the Big Shot and SU Sizzix "Top Note" Die. It takes 2 [one for the front and one for the back] and a small white paper bag. (a brown one may have been better) 1/18/09 Update: This may be where I seen it as I love Chic n' Scratch you can click HERE to find a sample and much more......this is one Awesome blog.

I was not able to make them until I found a little white lunch bag in one of my drawers. It was like finding a pot of GOLD. I immediately thought of these cute little Top Note Bags. I did have to get creative I wanted to make more than one.

I cut from the bottom at 2" then created a bottom with the upper portion and voila two out of one. Enjoy! Thanks for stopping in....
