Flip Card and Flip Note Card Holder

Boy! that's a mouth full. I have been busy lately doing a little of this and that getting my act together. I feel my life is coming back together slowly now that my son is home safe from Afghanistan. "I'm not so depressed" My creativity is flowing and not forced. It's been wonderful.

I was asked to share these at an upcoming upline event "That means I have something new to share with you" Drum roll......



Do you like it? This is the Flip Card the smaller size.

How to....and Recipe

Flip Card:
• 3 1/2" x 11" piece of cardstock
• 3 1/4" x 4" piece of coordinating DSDP
• 3 1/4" x 4" piece of neutral cardstock for card inside
• Stamps, ink, additional cardstock and embellishments
• Coluzzle™ or other circular cutting system
• Scoring tool
• Paper cutter
• Velcor closures
• Dimensionals
• Adhesive

I used:

Close to Cocoa, Pretty In Pink and Whisper White Card Stock
Berry Bliss DSDP
Build-A-Brad
One of A Kind Stamp Set
Retired Ribbon (sorry)


Step 1
Score card stock at 4¼” and 8½”.







Step 2
Now trim the short end using the Coluzzle™ circle template. You can also use your paper piercing tool to add Faux stitching to upper flap.











Step 3
With cutter trim 1/8” off card stock so that when folded it will lay flat.





Step 4
Fold at scores, and adhere DSDP to outer lower flap.





Step 5
Adhere neutral card stock to the inside base.






Step 6
Add Velcro closure






Step 7
Stamp, color, and mat the main image, then adhere to the center of the top flap using dimensionals or similar product. Add your ribbon and you’re done!






I could not decide what Ribbon I liked....These are very quick and easy to make and very cute! Thanks to SCS where I first seen the idea.

Note Card Holder:
• 4 ¼” x 11" piece of cardstock
• 3 3/4" x 4" piece of coordinating DSDP
• Envelope (I used All Purpose 3 5/8” x 6 ½”)
• Stamps, ink, additional cardstock and embellishments
• Coluzzle™ or other circular cutting system
• Scoring tool
• 1-3/8” Circle Punch
• Paper cutter
• Velcro closures
• Dimensionals
• Adhesive

I used:

Close to Cocoa, Pretty In Pink and Whisper White Card Stock
Berry Bliss DSDP
Close to Cocoa, Pretty in Pink Classic Ink Pads
Build-A-Brad
Ticket Corner, Scallop, 1/2", 1-3/8", 1-1/4", Boho Blossoms Punches
Crop-A-Dile
Boho Backgrounds & One of A Kind Stamp Sets
Pretty in Pink, Chocolate Chip Taffeta and Retired Pink Ribbon

Step 1
Score card stock at 4”, 4 ½” and 9”.






Step 2
Now trim the short end using the Coluzzle™ circle template.





This is optional
You can also use your paper piercing tool to add Faux stitching to upper flap.





Step 3
Seal your envelope and score at 3” and 3 ½” with the sealed side down.





Step 4
Cut 1/8” off each end of the envelope this opens it up.





Step 5
Punch in the center at the open end of the envelope with the 1-3/8” punch so that the 3 x 3 cards can be retrieved easily.




Step 6
Adhere the envelope to the inside base.






Step 7
Fold card stock at scores, and adhere DSDP to outer lower flap.





Step 8
Add Velcro closure.







Step 9
Stamp and create your main image and attach to flap, add ribbon or other embellishment.

FLIP CARD w/ 3x3 cards

I found the idea for the flip card on Beate's blog and now you can find a tutorial on SCS if you want to check it out. In keeping with today's theme "that came from nowhere" a stamping free day. Oh, I did do just a little but, Rub-Ons and accessories took the cake.

I started out with a piece of Rose Red and Bali Breeze DSP. You can see I have used the Fusion Flowers, Rhinestone Brads, Scallop Punch, Corner Punch, Silver & Black Brads, Slider from Styled Silver Hodgepodge Hardware kit and assorted ribbons. There is a letter sized envelope sealed, folded in half and cut to make two pockets and adhered to the inside of the Rose Red to hold the 3x3 cards. These will be used as gifts for teachers, neighbors or when I need a little thank you gift.

I'VE CAUGHT THE RUB-ON FEVER!

I picked up some expandable folders to help keep my stamping projects and information organized. While playing I had a light bulb moment, I have all these Rub-Ons....Could I put them on the flap and make them PRETTY?
YES, so I dove right in, I added a few pictures to show how easy it is.

I found it better for me to cut out the design that I was going to uses.
Play with the your piece or pieces and arrange them until you get the look you want. With the wooden stick start RUBBING then pull off excess paper. VOILA!

Now, it is very pretty as is but, I had been playing with my Fusion Flowers and I could not hold back.....had to add some just to finish it off!

I used the paper piercing tool to make a hole after I decided where I wanted to place the flowers.







As you can see I added the Rhinestone Brad and inserted it into the paper pierced hole.







WOW! look how cool this is! Now you need to go and make one or just get creative with what you have!!!

Flower Fusion

I can't believe that I have not played with these yet! I'm hooked Flower Fusion so many new accessories this year to play with. Rub-On's I'm going to stop as they are all addicting, the next few post are full of all new accessories I've been playing with hope you enjoy looking as much as I enjoyed creating.




I found a few of these old Home Interior Candle glasses that I cleaned and put away as someday I would need them. I used the Love & Happiness Rub-Ons from Sale-A-Bration. You can see how cute it turned out......
Now I had a place to store my Flower Fusion felt flowers that add dimension to your projects in a snap it doesn't get any cooler than that!!.
Here is a close up of the flowers....you get 130 pieces to arrange what ever way you like.
Oh My! I love these with that said here's the card......

Card Stock: Whisper White, Pink Passion, Old Olive and Summer Picnic DSP

Inks: None I used Rub-Ons

Accessories: Rub-Ons Love & Happiness from SAB, Flower Fusion, Rhinestone Brads, Poly-Twill Ribbon
